African Australian Immigrants Community has grown steadily in the past decade in Australia with Skilled , Non Skilled, International students, Refugees and Asylum Seekers, Many find it hard to settle in Australia despite the mainstream programs and supports by the governments .Some of the challenges are securing employment, experiences of racism, discrimination .social isolation, and legal issues These challenges can negatively impact resettlement outcomes, including health and wellbeing.
Auslinks Care Community Services is working to develop through Consultation programs, services and Activities that will assist meet the needs of the said Communities by providing family/parenting, counselling and consultancy support services to African-Australian families and other CALD communities.
We shall also provide.
- Professional services training and development for stakeholders working with African-Australian and CALD families across Victoria.
- Organise Relief program where need arises within the community to support each other in the our communities
- We shall run culturally sensitive workshops, working within the African-Australian community and surrounding CALD communities, to develop and
- strengthen the skills, abilities and resources needed to adapt and thrive in Australia.
- Understanding of family violence and the supports that are available in Australia is challenging to most migrants.
