Asylum Seekers and Refugee Supports
Auslinks Care and Community Services recognises the UDHR Article 14 that states:
- Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution.
- This right may not be invoked in the case of prosecutions genuinely arising from non-political crimes or from acts contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations
Therefore we shall be providing services within our capacity to support Asylum Seekers and Refugees by engaging in services that connect, engage, influence policy change and advocacy to support Asylum Seekers we shall work closely with existing organisation and institution that offer support, and engage with Asylum Seekers in areas of
- Language Barriers
- Recreation Activities
- Digital Connectivity
- Food and Groceries Support
- Employment Assistance
- Monthly Dinners and Connecting Lunches
